Virginia Tech (2007), Fort Hood (2009), Aurora Theater (2012), Charleston Church (2015), Club Pulse (2016), Fort Lauderdale Airport (2017), Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School (2018), El Paso Walmart (2019), Oxford High School (2021), Robb Elementary (2022), Florida State University ( 2025).  These are just a few of the mass shootings that have impacted our communities and lives over the past 16 years.  Violent events have become the new norm in the U.S. and the 15 second social and main-stream media video clips can never prepare you should you ever find yourself in the middle of such an event.  Educate yourself on the importance of Time, Distance, and Shielding, while implementing the Avoid, Deny, and Defending self-defense methods.

The goal of the Police and Citizens Encounters (PACE) training is to bridge the lines of communication between the police and citizens. All too often the media, movies, and social media portray citizen interactions with police officers in a negative light. This Educational Session is an interactive, fun practice, taught by a former Chief of Police with 26 years of law enforcement experience, geared towards enhancing your knowledge as a driver (or passenger) of what to do and more importantly what not to do in the event you get pulled over.

Background

MVI will review of all documentary and phsyical evidence and provide our opinion as Subject Matter Experts.
