Participated with the United States Department of State accessing and training foreign national police officers from Central America, Caribbean, South America, European, and African nations.

Conducted workshops for United States Department of Education Office of Safe and Drug Free Schools in the area of Critical Incident Management. Part of a nationwide team of personnel who provide training for school personnel, law enforcement, and other governmental personnel for the Readiness Emergency Management in School (REMS) Grant formally known as the Emergency Response and Crisis Management (ERCM) Grant. In January 2013, as a result of the Newtown Connecticut shooting,  participated with the REMS team at the Connecticut Association of School Security Summit and other forums in Washington D.C.

Served as an expert witness on juvenile related matters. Provided Subject Matter Expertise as a grant reviewer for the  Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention, National Institute of Justice, and Office of Justice Programs. Graduate of the Federal Bureau of Investigation National Academy Class 262 and  Southern Police Institute Command Officers Development Course #55.   Secret Clearance with the FBI and US Homeland Security.

Testified at the United States Senate forums on the Parkland tragedy by offering expertise and perspectives related to safe schools. This included meeting with White House staff over multiple administrations to increase safety in our schools and communities. Provided statements as a witness on civil litigation related to school safety, security, and policing matters.
